Asus just launched its ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop in India. This comes in two variants, one with AniMe Matrix and one without it. They cost ₹98,990 and ₹80,990 respectively for base models. The Zephyrus G14 is powered by AMD Ryzen 9 4900HS, Ryzen 7 4800HS and Ryzen 5 4600HS processor that has up to 8 cores and 16 threads. The laptop is said to feature customized intelligent cooling system and powered by up to RTX 2060 MaxQ GPU from NVIDIA.

It also comes with 14-inch UHD or FHD resolution Pantone validated 100% sRGB display with 85% screen to body ratio.

With 17.9mm thickness and 1.6kg weight, the Zephyrus G14 has a Magnesium-Alloy keyboard frame with fingerprint-resistance. The highlight here is AniMe Matrix monochrome palette and pixelated pattern on the shell, which acts like a secondary screen when the laptop is closed. It can show you the time or any other information, giving that ‘gamer’ feel to it. You can customise it via an inbuilt software.

As for the battery, the Zephyrus G14 is backed by a 4-cell 76WHr battery with Type-C charging by 65W adapter and 180W AC adapter. This comes in addition to Dolby Atmos, 2x2.5 speakers + 2x0.7W tweeter and ROG’s intelligent cooling solution for efficient thermal output. The Zephyrus G14 can support up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Besides launching the G14, Asus India also announced the AMD versions of ZenBook 14, VivoBook S S14, VivoBook Ultra K15, VivoBook Ultra 14/15, VivoBook Flip 14 and Zephyrus G15 with bases prices ₹69,990, ₹59,990, ₹54,990, ₹49,990 and ₹1,04,990.
